Everyone seems to be panicking about the swine flu! All I know is I DON"T WANT IT! So, how is a person to know if they really have H1N1, the common cold, or some other flu? Are you wondering what exactly the symptoms of H1N1 are? The symptoms of H1N1 are:
Fever – particularly a fever of over 100 degrees (can reach 105 degrees)
Sore throat
Dry cough
Chills and severe fatigue
Severe body aches (emphasis on severe)
Headache
Vomiting and diarrhea
The only way to know for sure if you have H1N1 is to be tested by your physician. So, go to the doctor!
The common cold may have similar symptoms and can last three to five days. They are:
Stuffy nose
Congestion
Some body aches
A growing cough
Let's just be informed, focus on prevention....and do not panic! Remember-Wash your hands often and cover your mouth with your elbow when you sneeze. If you already have the flu, please stay away from others. Stay home for at least 24 hours after the fever breaks, and make sure you drink lots of fluids to prevent dehydration.
And that's all I have to say about that! Have a great H1N1 free week!

Amen to the "Don't panic"!!!! I think a lot of the problems come from people not being wise about the situation, practice common sense things here people...wash your hands, don't go out if your sick!! I loved this post, thanks for the info!! ...and YES...let's ALL stay H1N1 free!!!
They gave us the vaccination here at work. So I went home and got Grey and had him come get one too. I just hope it works and we avoid that flu.
